torn sheets in the rain

now this is sort of interesting. i'm tempted to head to the southside this evening to see how it begins.

things i like today:

• lindor peanut butter truffles - good for the tongue, the tummy and the soul.
  
• baths - long, hot, steaming and bubbly, preferably coupled with a damp paperback and a glass of:
  
• white wine - nothing better in the summertime. a chill fount of white wine, moisture trailing down glassy curves, cradling thin stem on nighttime balcony amid flowers and stars.
  
• gerbera daisies - living in nyc, there were flower vendors on every corner downtown. new york seems to be the only place where one can readily find *blue* gerbera daisies - the best color a daisy can be.
  
• conversation - rather than "small talk", intense, honest, potentially dangerous conversation - written, spoken, or murmured confidentially amid the smoke and buzz of a crowded tavern.
  
• red - lips. cherries. fire. flush of desire. i am attracted to red objects and ideas.
  
• you - what's not to like?
