the weekend at state college was wonderous; much eating, drinking and laughing with the family. deb + i went to her gym on sunday morning; she is morphing into a physical superwoman, putting on a badass sweat and blasting from machine to machine with her trainer. i, befuddled by the unfamiliar environment, shot off the back of a treadmill at full speed while fumbling with my walkman. sigh.
this week has been extra-swell because my sweet husband is now unemployed, too - so we are enjoying being on the dole and spending our days outdoors, indoors, doing stuff together. it is wonderful. i am itching to get back to it, though. there are several things on the burner but i'm trying to not be hasty; however, the goal is to be getting paid very generously to do something i love by the end of this month.
today was an especially beautiful day, because we went to krispy kreme! yes, krispy kreme! it was bliss. it's a blessing that the only one in the area is in god's country (read: cranberry), or else i'd blow all of my government-gifted unemployed funds on dozens of hot glazed donuts. amen.
