sunday night we went to see david sedaris live at the byham. he is so fucking cool.

tonight we went to a pink slip party at the church. it was - kind of lame. many job seekers, but hardly anyone hiring; i suppose it was art imitating life. we *did*, however, scam a very yummy dinner at buca di beppo later on - their spumoni with chocolate sauce leaves me limp and breathless.
ed and i went up to moraine today to hike; unfortunately, after driving almost 50 miles, it started to rain shortly after we arrived at the trailhead. we discovered a nifty new trail to explore; i am hoping for a sunny day or two next week (preferably snow-free).
