a pleasant weekend
last week, i spent my first 5 days of blissful unemployment sleeping and aching. ed finally motivated me at the same time that my illness backed off - much improvement around the household. then he got sick and slept for many days in a row.
today was relaxing; took the dogs for independent walks around swissvale, then at the waterfront. baked banana bread and lethal black-forest cookies. finally got around to watching breakfast at tiffany's, which was dated and silly but still ok.
looking forward to starting my last term of mba bliss tomorrow. signed on for a couple of daytime classes to prevent myself from entertaining any notion of employment before graduation. not sure why i want to sabotage myself, but there it is. hoping for a kickass 3 months, followed by a sane and serene career move, tbd.
